Nadya Suleman inks deal for reality show

Octuplets mom Nadya Suleman signed a deal Thursday to launch her own reality show, according to Usmagazine.com.
Suleman’s attorney Jeff Czech indicated cameras would not scrutinize Suleman’s 14 children around-the-clock, but rather pick and choose moments for a ”quasi-reality TV series.”
“(Nadya and the producers) are hoping to have an arrangement whereby several events in the children’s lives would be filmed in a documentary series,” Czech told Us. “One of the events in the children’s lives might be their first birthday.”
Interesting, since intrusion on the children’s lives is very thing Suleman will go to court over June 22 in Orange County. (Click here or here to see how she’s accused of cashing in on her kids.)
Meanwhile, production company Eyeworks apparently is shopping the still-unnamed series to the networks. No word on what Suleman will get paid.
One thing is for sure, though. It will give Suleman an outlet to defend her decisions — and keep her in the spotlight.
Said Czech: “(Nadya) is looking forward to providing her side of the story.”

This show will be watched much like a train wreck is watched. Although, it should put some money in her pocket and get her off the taxpayers back. For that reason, and that alone I’m hoping it works out for her.
I for one am simply tired of seeing/reading about this topic.
I read this article and posted here, hence the train wreck theory.
This very well may be the shortest lived show ever on T.V. Down in flames! Besides, how can she do a show when she claims she’s going back to CSUF in the fall?
Maybe she can make a few bucks and begin to pay back Kaiser Permanente for the care she has gotten. It’s a downright shame to see an irresponsible imbecile such as this in the limelight for – doing what?

Nothing like rewarding irresponsible behavior by paying somebody to see the aftermath…it’s the American way. I’m sure if this doesn’t pan out, a book deal will be put together….really appalling!!

The exploitation of these kids for money should be blatantly illegal. No one would watch if it were about her alone. This stuff has to STOP ! This woman irritates my ‘crack’.

I blame Discovery and John & Kate for Suleman doing this. You know she was just sitting at home one day watching them and a light went off in her head. Look at all the swag they have got. Look at how famous they are. You know she just thought to herself I could do that.

Sandyinviejo, You have hit on part of my take on this. Kate & John are just about washed up…it’s funny that Octo Lips is going to try a reality show as no one cares about watching a litter of kids grow up. They fight & play like all other kids & equally get yelled at. This has been her grand plan since she knew she was going to have a litter…I won’t watch anything with her nane on it. Since Social Services has been called to her house for several reasons I think she better watch what she is doing…It’s not all about Octo Lips anymore, it’s about Social Services.

PopeBeardGodVIII, we hope that, we don’t know that for sure! I hope Allred can get to the bottom of this. Unfortunately this mess isn’t over. Any other married couple that had a litter & already had 6 kids would not be looked at the way Octo Lis is. It’s about time for another surgery for her isn’t it?

This woman is a self-centered witch who is doing everything she can to make money off those kids. It’s not about “loving” those children; this is about gaining notoriety, feeding her obsessions and making money. Plus, she is on the dole with we taxpayers subsidizing her selfish preoccupations. Any money she gets from TV shows or whatever should go to reimbursing what she gets free, i.e., welfare and food stamps, from the government. It’s our money that’s helping support her. I resent that.

Hey – maybe regular OC readers of this blog just might bring her projected income to the attention of the STATE of CALIFORNIA and mange to get us poor resident taxpayers repaid. Seriously – if she gets an income (via her sperm-donated offspring) doncha think that in these days of all of cutting back …that..maybe, just maybe we can make her pay her debts to us?????
