Hospital may keep octuplets, mom says

In perhaps the strangest octo-news to emerge yet, octuplets mom Nadya Suleman has been offered a cool $1 million to appear in an X-rated film, according to an Associated Press report in the San Francisco Chronicle. (Read more here.)
Also today, 
Suleman told Dr. Phil she now fears the hospital will keep her octuplets – until she proves she can care for them, according to this story at MSNBC.
Suleman expressed her fears to TV’s “Dr. Phil” McGraw, while taping an interview due to air today.
This is what Dr. Phil told the LA Times about it:
“What she is telling me is that unless and until she has a better living arrangement, they are not likely to release the children to her.”
Kaiser Permanente’s Bellflower Medical Center wasn’t commenting on the story, telling MSNBC that any conversations it has with Suleman are private.
Meanwhile, power attorney Gloria Allred gave Suleman a 24-hour ultimatum to accept round-the-clock care for the octuplets from “Angels In Waiting.”
Alred told RadarOnline.com:
“Nadya has two alternatives. One, L.A. County Department of Children Family Services comes in, takes the octuplets, places them in foster care,. All of the octuplets won’t be together. Public agencies come in. It will be a burden on the tax payer. Two, instead of foster care, she accepts the proposal of Angels in Waiting for 24/7 care.”
What was Dr. Phil’s assessment of Suleman? He told CBS:
“I think, clearly, she is a loving mother. I think she has good intentions, but I think her ability and willingness to grasp the gravity of what’s happened here is just really limited.”

Why would anyone offer her that kind of deal??? It’s not like she’s drop dead gorgeous nor have the body?? She just had a bundle of kids… ewww! Why would anyone contribute to that kind of shame? If she was to do it, I would feel sorry for her… Well honestly, I would feel more sorry for her kids. Unbelievable how the public takes this kind of stuff to extreme!
Octomom has already proven her decision making process is not adequate to raise the six children she already has let alone eight more.
What would an X-Rated Video have in it? Isn’t it obvious that this woman doesn’t do sex? She only does sperm donors. (Can’t blame them for that…..but who in their right mind would let this wing nut have their swimmers!) Never allow psych majors to have children…….

Oh geez, that’s gross. Who would even watch that? CAN is right, there has got to be TONS of extra skin all over the place. I just saw that picture of her while preggers with the octuplets, and it was disturbing enough. Blech!!!
all 14 need to be taken away. She needs to be locked up for fraud against the taxpayers of California. Her irresponsible actions cost us and now she should go to jail to pay for that. Let her out when the last one turns 18

I agree with Matt, but also believe she should be charged with Felony Child Abuse for purposely putting 8 babies into health risk by being born premature. There would have been no way to carry multiple babies to term and premature babies have potential for countless life-threatening problems. That’s child abuse in my book. Also, should be charged with Extortion - knowingly having children the state would have to support.
She’s a nutcase, should be locked up and kids/babies given to responsible families to raise. Poor grandma, feel so sorry for her.
A very unattractive woman with very evident mental problems who is the mother of 14 children under the age of eight years. Even the thought of Octomom doing ANY kind of film is unconscionable.

As demeaning and disgusting as doing a porn movie is, I’d rather see her do that to support her children than live off the taxpayers, since she knew well before hand she had no way of supporting these children. At least it would be her earning money and not just sticking her hand out expecting people to support her because she has 14 children. I mean….who does that?

I think she needs to have a Conservator over her, like Britney. Someone who will help her with the children, watch over her all the time, take charge of the money she gets every month for the disabled children she has.. That man who thinks he is the sperm donor should be tested and if he is, he should pitch in money and his time, too, to take care of the children. How selfish of Nadya not to have a father for all these children.. Why does her mom have to use all her money to help take care of the children?? That is a lot of money each month for the disabled children,,, Where is that money being spent??

Here is what you can count on when there is an event such as this, Dr. Phil coming out and grandstanding on the chance to have his name mentioned. He did it with Britney Spears. Remember? It is like Gloria Allred or even “Rev” Jesse Jackson. These people are no different than an ambulance chaser. I am hoping this woman is as stupid as she has proven to be and actually takes the offer. No, not because I want to see her “in action”, {gag…I threw up a little in my mouth at the thought of that sight} but because if she does then those kids will be removed from her without hesitation! She turns my stomach with her selfish ways. She is all about herself.

Also, I never thought I’d ever feel sorry for a male porn star, but I doubt those poor guys get paid enough to tap that mess.
I think the Octomom has used our government and resources enough for instance : The welfare was set up for disabled people years ago and families who lost their jobs til they found other jobs, or disabled people. It is not for Octomom to lay on her back or be inseminated to have kids. Now she is going to use the system not for 3 disability checks food stamps and welfare money which all the tax payers are working for to support her. I think the children should all be taken off her and put in foster home, there are mothers out there and fathers working 2 jobs to support their children and barely making it or having the system they cannot get help because they worked and made $3.00 to much to get help with food stamps or kids taken away for not having a clean and proper home. But she has no home house was a mess and has no job but they are going to let her play the system and receive more money from welfare and food stamps. If they do that it will open a can of worms and this will put many ideas in other peoples heads lets play the system get knocked up have a ton of kids welfare will take care of them as for children and youth no worries they wont step in because if they do we can bring up octo moms situation. Dr Phil he is an idiot if he has so much sypathy for just plane ignorance on octo mom part then he should pay for the kids I have no sympathy was ignorant , stupid, and selfish this woman needs phycological help. Dr phil should pay for all those kids since he feels so sympathetic about this. Money she needs to pamper herself and get a manicure and plastic surgeory or a hair cut well moms this is your day if you are on welfare go get a manicure and plastic surgeory tax payers will pay for it. I personally am a working mom i personally dont have that opertunity to get a manicure or pamper myself I think more of my children all my money goes to the bills or putting a decent roof over their heads. Also to make sure they have food on the table. I think this lady should be held on a criminal charge endangering the welfare of children what a peice of work she is. I would be ashamed to show my face if I had done something like that get a job it is impossible to raise 14 children as a single mom all she is doing is looking for a handout and to probably have a movie contract or book because she wants to be a star like angelina. She needs a phyc ward.
I say go ahead and do the movie. Then Child Welfare will have no option but will have to take the children away from her. Best thing that could happen to them. Then the State can attach her wages she gets from the movie to pay back the money she bilked from all of us.
